What Ideas Fest Means to Me

The first time I went to Ideas Fest, I had no idea how much it would change my life. I was feeling stuck. My consultancy business was ticking along, but something felt off. I wanted to do more and have a bigger impact, but I was not sure what that looked like. I was searching for something without even realising it.

Then a friend of mine, Dani Wallace, gave me a ticket to the very first Ideas Fest. It was not the big, polished event it is today. Maybe I would meet some interesting people. Maybe I would just get a break from my usual routine.

Possibility. I sat there watching some of my dream business owners on stage, these incredible, inspiring people who had built brands and movements I admired. Then I did something I always do. I looked them up online.

And what I saw shocked me.
